What Should We Do?

Upcycling Waste -

Only about 9% of plastic ever gets recycled and the rest end up in landfills or the oceans. That’s why Loopy exists – To help solve our plastics crisis, one step at a time.

Prevent Air Pollution -

Burning plastic waste and burning crop waste both creates air pollution. 1/3 of all black carbon emissions comes just from burning crop waste. Why burn something when there’s a great use for it?

Educate -

Our goal is to help people understand the crazy mix of information out there about plastics, while providing useful tips. Learning about plastics can be overwhelming – Our goal is to make it easier on you.
